In 2024, Aiden Edwards, lead singer of East Side of 2nd, began exploring French music as part of his growing career. His journey into the French music scene led him to join the Nouvelle Scène, a platform supporting emerging French-language artists in Canada.
Aiden’s venture into French music includes opening for Beauséjour, a notable Francophone act, marking a significant milestone in his solo career. Additionally, Aiden has signed with Réveil, a French music label based in Ottawa, to further develop his work in the Francophone music industry. This partnership includes plans to record and release original French-language songs and participate in performances across Canada, focusing on Francophone festivals and events.
While continuing his work with East Side of 2nd, Aiden is now expanding his artistic reach by contributing to the bilingual music landscape in Canada.
