East Side Of Humboldt

East Side of Humboldt

Well… East Side of 2nd finally made their way back to Humboldt on June 28th, 2026, for Living Skies Music Festival.

This time, the boys came prepared. Last year, they rolled into town ready to rip, only to get absolutely humbled by the weather. Rain came down, plans got washed away, and the band was left with nothing but soggy dreams and probably wet socks.

But 2026 was different.

This year, East Side of 2nd got to share the festival grounds alongside some serious names: GreenWing, Trooper, Chilliwack, and The Hip Experience. Not a bad little lineup to be part of. Honestly, it was the kind of bill that makes you look around and go, “Are we supposed to be here?” And then you remember, yes, technically, someone did book us.

After last year’s rainout, the band returned with one mission: redemption.

And redeem themselves they did.

They actually got to stand on stage this year. For a full, glorious, career-defining, absolutely historic 10 minutes.

That’s right. Ten whole minutes. Long enough to plug in, sweat a little, look cool in sunglasses, and convince at least a few people that East Side of 2nd is either a band, a street address, or some kind of small-town gang with guitars.

But those 10 minutes mattered.

They were loud, they were fun, and they were a reminder that sometimes all you need is a short set, a good crowd, and a festival stage that is not underwater.

Living Skies Music Festival gave East Side of 2nd the chance to come back, laugh off last year, and finally make some noise in Humboldt. Sure, it might not have been a two-hour arena rock set, but hey — when you’ve been rained out before, 10 minutes feels like a comeback special.

So thank you, Humboldt. Thank you, Living Skies. Thank you to everyone who watched, cheered, or accidentally heard us while waiting for Chilliwack.

East Side of 2nd came, saw, played for 10 minutes, and lived to tell the tale.

See you next time — weather permitting.
